Is there anyone who could offer advice or help with Generating a PDF Within the Program?

BushyTail asked in Rails

Hello, I am a college student working on a senior capstone that utilizes the use of Ruby on Rails. I am attempting to generate a PDF within the program, and I am stuck. Is there anyone who could offer advice or help point me in the right direction for help?

I have tried to use Wicked PDF, but what I am trying to do is more advanced. In the capstone project, I have to create a generate PDF function for the Arachni Penetration-Testing Web Application, version 1.5.1. The task I am given is to create a function that generates a PDF report looking exactly like the HTML report, which involves more than just text. I have hit a roadblock, and I am wondering if there is someone out there who can help me with this.

As I understand WickedPDF is exactly what you are looking for. You build your classic HTML view with all the things you need (images, links, text, styling) and Wicked builds a PDF from it. Have a look at their homepage. https://wkhtmltopdf.org/

Most of the students can easily get the PDF conversion of the content in textual format which will help the students to get writing advice. I have tried to follow the https://medium.com/@jjbondik/how-to-pick-a-dissertation-topic-abcfb81c4840 site option where you can easily get the writing content options to write the best dissertation topic.
